How long will my Garden Studio take to build?
Our garden studios take 10-15 working days to build,depending on size and design. ie. Bathroom,etc.
What type of insulation is used in the walls, floor and roof?
As Ecocel cellulose is pumped in it achieves a level of air-tightness not possible with any sheet or roll out material. Ecocel will last the life span of the building and make building safer in event of fire. Ecocel due to its natural fibres creates a healthy indoor air quality and is Carbon Negative when installed
What type of windows and doors are installed?
All our Garden studios are fitted with upvc,our advanced 70mm A Rated upvc suite is offered in two standard colours. Black(outside),black(inside), Ral 7016 Grey(outside),white(inside).
Do I need to treat the cedar cladding?
As an optional extra we offer two coats of Osmo. Cedar uv-protection oil which protects the cedar against mould,algae and fungal. It is recommended you treat your cedar every 1-2 years.
Do I need planning permission for my Garden Studio?
There is no need for planning permission, 25 square metres is our largest studio which is exempt from planning.
